Such a healthy house mine is right now! *Touch wood* Squirrel hasn't been sick for a few hours now. But Christopher is more than making up for him...

Still sick...

Poor little Squirrel is still sick. He went for a few hours this morning where he actually seemed okay, besides the fact that he wouldn't eat anything, and I really thought he was over it. But then he was sick again, and is now red and feverish. He had a sleep and woke up grizzly. If he is no better tomorrow I will take him to the DRs.

And on the subject of feeling sick, I feel bad today. I think my baby boy has been a sweetie and shared his germs with me. Well I always tell him it is nice to share...

Poorly Boy :(

My poor baby boy is sick. He has never been sick in his life. He is the only one who has never needed a doctors appt. Not even in the early days. But now, for the first time, he is not very well.
It all started at 1:00 this morning *yawn* when he woke me up by being sick in his bed. Poor little boy was looking so confused, not really sure what was going on, and why Mummy wasn't making him feel better like she does when he trips over. He fell back to sleep quite quickly. This continued thoughtout the rest of the night. And not once did the little fella cry. He is soooo brave. He woke up this morning at 9:00 which is terribly late for him. He was all pale and quiet and sat on my lap giving me lots of cuddles. And then he was sick again...

Red Arrows

Did you watch the Red Arrows tonight? We watched from the back garden. I had the Camcorder ~ but kept filming the Seagulls by mistake. LMAO! It was quite funny! I did get a few little shots but haven't watched it back yet. If it was even halfway decent I will post it here ~ so watch this space! (And who knows ~ you may end up with a clip of the Seagull too!!!)

Waiting: for the gas man. *Yawn* I love days like this. I will wait in all day ~ he will turn up last thing and be gone in like 5 mins. And I would have wasted a whole day. Why can't they narrow the time down a bit?

A day out...

The weather didn't look too good when we got up this morning. But we set out for a day at Crealy anyway. It was really busy and part way through the day the sun came out and it was quite hot and bright.

The kids all had a great time but poor Adam wasn't feeling at all well. He didn't want to go on anything and spent the whole time sneezing and trying to sit in the shade. He felt a bit hot too....

But we were all glad to get out and make the most of the sun ~ especially with school starting again next week!

A little change....

I am sure those who visit often enough will notice that I have changed things around a little. I made myself a new banner and changed the colours to go in with this. Those who know me well will know that this will probably change again before long....

The sun...

decided to come out today! Yay! They had forecast rain so that was a nice thing to see this morning.

We took the kids to Decoy. I did take that old friend ~ Mr Camcorder ~ but figured you would like a break from all these clips for while! I will however get a little something on here in the next couple days.

Squirrel wants to be as big as his brothers. What they do ~ he wants to do. And he gets pretty annoyed if he isn't allowed.

He got caught by the water jets twice. First time he was stood and the water was trickling out really slowly. He was catching it in his hand. Suddenly out it shot and he was stood in between the jets like 'Now what do I do?'. He decided he would just walk through it. Second time it got him right in the face. His jeans got soaked and the water went in his eyes and made him cry. Not sure if I managed to catch that on tape as I was being chased by a wasp at the time...

I found my lead! Yay!!!

Those of you regular blog readers will know that I haven't been able to get any pics/videos from my camcorder onto my PC as I was having an issue with my lead. We tried about 5 different ones and none were right. And today ~ I found it!!!

So be prepared to be dazzled by many wonderful video clips in the very near future! Now I can feel your excitment already!

It just makes me laugh. I mean the songs are soooo cool (especially POP goes my heart....LMAO!) and the dancing is just AWESOME! Hugh Grant has some sleek moves.........LOL!

Happy Birthday Hannah

My sweet baby girl. I can't believe how many years have passed since you were with us, fighting for life. Although the years have healed my heart, the scar remains, and always will do, making it ache everytime I think of what could have been. Some days I get lost in my thoughts, imagining what life would have been like if you had of made it. More often though I wonder what you would have been like if you have arrived on time. A normal, happy & healthy baby. But I can't really imagine you any different then the tiny little girl that you were, able to fit in the palm of my hand.

I don't worry about you anymore. I know you have your Bibo by your side. So I know you will be alright.

I think I may have messed my kids minds up. They were out in the garden playing and called me to ask if I would 'take their picture'. They probably felt something was 'missing' if I wasn't there ~ camera in hand.

However ~ I don't think Squirrel was very impressed seeing me appear with that big black thing. He pulled a sulky face and refused to even look my way...

Having a PC clearout!

You wouldn't believe the clutter on my PC unless you could see it for yourself! Seriously ~ it is so bad it is cool!

Let's just say that my desktop was so full the icons went off the screen. I had about 30 folders on my desktop alone. And in one of those folders I had 274 folders. The total files in there? Over 17,000. LMAO!

Now can you imagine the task involved in organsing such a disaster? I have like hundreds of thousands of photos. Scattered randomly in folders of folders. Making sure I don't delete something I want.

But I have duplicates. So I could have like 20 copies of the same picture, saved in different places. *yawn*

My main harddrive is 300gbs. And it was full. My second harddrive is 120 gbs. That was full too. *hanging head in shame* My external drive is 1tb. Don't worry ~ that is far from full...LOL! So I have been busy arranging things. My PC is looking quite pretty again. And I can find things so much easier. And I have space on my main harddrive again! Yay!!!! I can save lots more stuff now!

so after yesterday's visit to a ruin (LOL) today we went to a proper castle. Yep, we spent the day at Powderham Castle. The tour was awesome. So interesting. And the stuff inside! WOW! I think we could retire if we just sold one of the HUGE paintings from in there. And the old organ...gee ~ I cannot even begin to put a price tag on something like that! Sadly it was no photos inside :(

The kids did the treasure hunt and won Chocolate coins.

Today...

we went to Buckfast Abbey. Beautiful place but no camera's allowed. I really didn't know that until after I took 2 pics. *bowing head in shame* Here are my pics:



Area's like this were roped off ~ so you could get a good view but were unable to touch. Well Squirrel had a great idea! Crawl under the ropes, sit on the marble step and smile sweetly! We were whipering 'Squirrel! Come out of there' but he was loving everyone watching him, so proudly stood up giving a huge big grin. Daddy was like 'Shall I crawl under and get him?' and I was like 'OMG no! You can't go in there too!'. Squirrel teased us a bit ~ coming close so we could almost grab him ~ and then giggle and go and sit back on his 'step'. Thankfully he got too cheeky and came a little too close and we got him!

On the way home we took a detour and went down to Berry Pomeroy castle. Castle? More like a ruin! I saw the lady in white!!!!!!! LMAO! Will I be here tomorrow to write anymore?

I mean, come on! Seriously, this weather is crazy. Since the kids have been off school it has rained almost every day! We have big plans ~ and none of them work in the rain.
