Justin Bieber - Baby ft. Ludacris

In this video he was just a year older then Adam - and I think it is really sad that he has so many people who hate him (young lads I must point out) to the point where he gets attacked etc. He is just a kid for god sake.

Anyway - video above for Mum if it will work for her :)

Sensitive Soul...

My little Christopher is such a sensitive little boy. For a child of 5 years he sure thinks a lot. It doesn't take much to make him cry. He is a very emotional little boy.

During all the worry and concern of 'should I switch schools' I have often longed for the chance to go see Nan, to talk to her and see what she would have to say. She was the one who would often soothe my tears when Lewis would cry when I left him at Nursery. One a number of occasions my little boy would cling to my leg, begging with me not to leave him. And I had to let his teacher unwrap his little arms and take him away as I walked out the door listening to his sobs. He was horrible. And I would always break down as soon as I got to the safety of my car. And when I turned up in a state first thing in the morning at her door she knew - and she knew how to comfort me.

So when I struggle with my thoughts on the best thing to do I find myself listening to 'Footprints in the sand' and missing her more than ever.

Anyway. Our Music on Demand has the video of the song - which was a comic relief song. We often flick through our favourite songs when the TV has nothing much to watch. And the other night on came 'Footprints in the sand'. I sat watching & listening - but didn't allow myself to cry as I knew seeing me cry would make my baby cry. So I was surprised when I looked over at him and saw the tears dripping from his cheeks. I asked him what was wrong and he said 'This song. The children' and all I could do was wrap my arms around him and hug him tight. And here is the video - just incase you haven't seen it. What a caring little boy I have...

Nine years...

It really doesn't seem possible. 9 amazing years since that GORGEOUS baby boy made his rushed entrance into this world. I should have known then that this little fella would be full of energy and excitement. I can still remember his arrival, even if it did pass in the blink of an eye! Waking from a deep sleep at 5.40 and holding him in my arms at 5.55 as the ambulance crew came rushing through the door - just a little too late!!!

He was my biggest baby, weighing in at 7lbs 13ozs. All my other babies were under the 7lb mark, some by a lot! Yet Lewis is my tiny boy now. I watched him walk up the path to school this morning and I wished I had my camera with me. 4 of his friend came over to say Happy Birthday to him. It was so cute! These 4 boys stood in a row next to him, and Lew came up to their shoulders. Try to get a picture of that in your mind cause it sure was cute! He looked little and lovely!

Now we look back at just a few moments of his incredible life so far.

I love you little one and I thank you for 9 fantastic years!

Lots to share!

Can I start off with a grumble?

I was sooooooooooo cross today. We went into the Tesco garage on the way to Barton to collect Lew & Furry. We often do this. As soon as a light on my gauge goes out I top my petrol back up. So I get out the car (as usual) and open the door to let Adam out (as usual). Squirrel stays in the car strapped into his seat (again, as usual). I open my filler cap and put the nozzle in. Adam is stood beside me talking, I am pulling the trigger but nothing happens. Now let me say that the garage was really busy. And suddenly a voice comes over the forecourt tanoy 'Can the little boy get in the car'. My first thought was that Squirrel had climbed out his seat and out the window. But No. He is safely in his chair. So then I glance across the busy forecourt, expecting to see a little kid running around, but all I see is EVERYONE staring at me. It is only then that the 'Little Boy' they were referring to was Adam. So I told him to get back in the car.

Once I had filled up I got him back out the car and went inside to queue. The younger assistant was free first but I said how I wanted to go to the other cashier (the one who had made the announcement).

I asked her where the signs were saying Children had to remain in the car, and how they had a sign saying under 16's were not to use the pumps, but nothing to say they couldn't stand beside their parents! She said that they would be shut down if he was seen standing beside me. Ummmm.....Okay. I told her how he stood there every time I filled up, usually twice a week. And that in the 18 years that I have been driving have NEVER experienced anything like it before. I told her how embarrassing it was having the whole place staring at me. And also how embarrassing it was for a 13 year old boy to be called a 'little boy' out loud like that. Seriously, I was NOT happy.

Christopher had his school trip to Pennywell Farm today. The coach was late back so we were stood around waiting for ages. But he had a good day, and sat next to Zara on the coach, so it was worth it.

Lewis is going to the Zoo on 3rd July (Matt's Birthday) and the the Riviera Center to watch an Orchestra on his birthday. Sad thing is he won't get back to school until late, so he will have to wait even longer to get home to his pressies!

Squirrel had great fun playing with his Umbrella today. I took some pics and turned them into a little slideshow for you. So turn on your sound and sit back and enjoy!

See you tomorrow!

B'Nanny...

Confused dot com? Join the club! Squirrel got me his bowl and said B'Nanny. I was like ummmm.......You want to give your bowl to Nanny? He replied with a 'Yeah'. I said 'Nanny is not here'. He said 'B'Nanny'. I repeated 'Nanny is not here'. 'B'Nanny. Eat'. Ummmmmm.... 'You want to EAT Nanny?' 'Yeah'. By now I was a little worried.....LOL. So he gave up and grabbed my hand and took me for walk to 'show' me. Can you guess what he took me to? Answer at the end of this post :)

Me & Squirrel went for a walk again today. He loves being out in the sunshine. He has his juice and his Choc Dip and is happy :) I got a letter from the Midnight Walk people asking if I would walk again this year. Last time I swore never again....but now I am thinking...YES! I am walking so much that I think I will find it so much easier this time around. I asked Lucy if she wanted to walk with me and she said Yes. I am also going to ask Tracey. So Tracey ~ you want to walk it with us? I will be setting up a 'justgiving' fundraising page again once all the details are confirmed. I will put a link to it on here and hopefully I will get some Sponsors and raise money for 2 very worthwhile causes. More on that at a later date :)

Who watches Waterloo Road? Did you see Maxine die? How sad was that? I read that she would be murdered but it still was horrible to watch.

I have a little treat for you now. You really must watch Ray! He was AMAZING (as usual!!!)

Oh and before I go ~ Squirrel was after a BANANA.....LOL!!!!!

Perfect Score and a sweet little boy :)

Today we went for a walk along the seafront and the boys played in the arcade. It was soooooooo cute! Squirrel say with his tub of 2ps and was posted them in the machine. Everytime he 'won' some coins back he got so excited and started giggling and bouncing and would hug and kiss me. Priceless!

So, who watched Ray last night? How awesome was he?! 6's across the board! Could I possibly let that go by without sharing it? Of course not! So here you go:

And I will leave you with a picture of my sweet little Christopher.

It's here!!!

Yep! At last! The Video! It is added at the bottom of this post ~ so be sure to watch it before you leave!

Dancing on Ice is on in a little while. Are you excited? Cause I am! Can't wait to see Ray again!

Has't today be just lovely. So nice and sunny! We sat out in the garden while to boys played on the little battery operated bikes. I have some pics but you will have to wait for those ~ can't spoil you too much can I?! Lewis was getting a little over excited with the rounders bat and whacked Christopher with it. He has a bruise right above his eye :( He cried so much bless him.

Anyway here is your video. Excuse the terrible sound in the background. They were digging! LOL! It does die off towards the end.

Sorry :(

I can't find my lead so I couldn't get the video onto here. Please don't yell at me!!!! I will find it ~ I promise, but I have been out all day today.

Which links me nicely into telling you about my day! We went for a walk to Paignton. Squirrel was in his buggy but little Christopher walked all the way like a little star! We then went into the cinema on the seafront and watched 'Bolt' which was really cute! Squirrel has never been to the cinema before and I don't think I would rush to take him again! Considering we were in there for two hours he did really well. But he wanted to play with everyone who was sat infront of us! Well, and behind us. It was hard work trying to keep him quiet! But we got through the film. Christopher jumped at a lot of it ~ but that was the volume of the sound rather then particular jumpy moments. I would recommend the film though. The trailer is at the end of this post!

After that we walked home again. Christopher got tired part way so Squirrel jumped out the buggy and Furry got in!!! Then Lewis wanted to go in so on the last little path he jumped in, with Furry on his lap. We had two giggling boys and me trying to push them!!!!!

Now we are about to watch 'Step Brothers' with a bag of warm popcorn. Before I go ~ here is the trailer.....be sure to watch it!

See you soon!

Sharing...

I know this song has been around for a while now ~ but I thought I would share anyway.

The song and video touch me so much. The words of the song (especially the chorus) makes me think of Nan so much. She is there. I know it.

The video is heart breaking. Watch the first little bit. The size of that poor child laying on the ground. Nothing more then a bag of bones. Then you see a baby, sitting by the road, crying. The cars zooming by. And the love of another child as they go to the baby.

Take a look

No more video's

from School. I was called to School today because a member of staff had found the video of Christopher's Graduation. She said that some parents refused to sign the internet permission slip as they did not want pics of their child on the net. She said how imagine if someone had left an abusive partner, moved down here to get away and hide from them, and then stumbled across a video telling you the school name where their child is. And I totally get it. So I have removed all video's from school. Family & Friends can contact me if they want to see any School clips, I can send them to you off the net.

But fear not! You will still be showered in video's of my babies ~ just not at school.

I will leave you with a video. Who remembers this?

You have to watch/listen to this!!!

The boys at Gemini have made their first ever Christmas song/Video. It is soooooooooooooo good! You just have to watch!

I am feeling sorry for myself today. My cold is here in full force. Last night I was awake coughing most of the night. My nose is sore my head hurts, my cough hurts, my eyes are burning and watering and well....I look a total delight today!

I picked up Christopher's Certificate today. The writing has smudged a little as he said he cried when he left the hall (and cried again as he told me). Bless his dear little heart. Today it is his Christmas Lunch at School. I hope he enjoys it!

Well it hurts to look at the screen so I will leave you with the video to watch and see you tomorrow.
