You sign the consent form and send your daughter off to school, thinking you are protecting her for the future. Doesn't bear thinking about :(
A 14-year-old schoolgirl today died shortly after being given the new cervical cancer vaccine.
The teenager collapsed at her school in Coventry after receiving the jab as part of a national immunisation programme.
She was taken to hospital but doctors were unable to save her.
Three of her classmates also suffered possible side-effects after being injected with Cervavix, which protects against human papillomavirus (HPV), this afternoon.

This is a girl in Adam's year at school. I can't even begin to imagine him going to a youth club on Friday and not being seen since. Friday was a long time ago in a situation like this.
A 13-YEAR-OLD girl from Torquay is being sought by police after she went missing on Friday, possibly with a 22-year-old man from Essex she met on the Internet.
Details have been released of 13-year-old Year 9 Westlands School pupil Teagan Feakins who was last seen at her youth club in Babbacombe Road on Friday night.
A police spokesman said today: "We are very concerned."

He jumped from the 3rd stair (did I mention he likes to jump???) and he fell and bashed his teeth....AGAIN. And they were bleeding really badly. Will he ever learn? He was screaming, I was stressed seeing him like that so yelled 'For goodness sake child - you are a boy not a kangaroo. STOP JUMPING' He was sobbing and had blood pouring from his mouth. It was not nice.
He struggled to eat and dinner tonight. Everything made him cry and say Ouch. Poor boy. Sad thing is - within half an hour he went to jump again. I shouted at him and he said 'No jump. Walk'. Thank you Squirrel! I tell you - this child sees no fear. I wonder what he will become? I can see him jumping out of planes when he is grown up. I will be stood on the ground watching, waiting for his parachute to open, thinking 'He still gives me Heart Failure even now'.
Anyway. Remember - tonight - channel 5. Flash Forward - 9pm. Looks AWESOME! Been waiting for it for months.

Nothing exciting to report so it will be more rambling I am afraid.
Squirrel just fell. He was jumping (as he does best) and banged his face on the floor. His little teeth were bleeding and his lip is a little swollen. He was a very sad little boy. But he is snuggling his Daddy now.
The Xfactor is about to start. PLEASE get rid of the two boys. GOD they do my head in. Soooooooo annoying!
We took a trip to Exeters new Park & Ride today. Everyone found things they wanted, even Christopher which is unusual. He never normally asks for anything.
We are thinking about getting a big trampoline with enclosure for the kids for Christmas. Squirrel would LOVE it!
Anyway. Gotta go watch Simon!!

You know the ad? The old one from years ago that they brought back? Well I am the red car. LOL. I always chuckle to myself when it comes on. So next time you see it, think of me :)
The red car and the blue car had a race
All red wants to do is stuff his face
He eats everything he sees
From trucks to prickly trees...

Well, let me tell you about mine. My horrible alarm went off at six so I go straight into the bathroom, switch the light on (arrrgh!!! It's too bright) and sit on the floor with my eyes closed because those lights are way too bright in the mornings. The next thing I feel is a tickle on my back. So I rub my hand across it and off falls a BIG, BLACK, HAIRY spider. Waaaaaaaaaaaa! Now I know I like my back being tickled but I am fussy about who (or what) does it!
Thought I would share that with you all :)

I have a really sore throat and keep sneezing. It is all DH's fault - giving me his germs. No dinner for him tonight.
I haven't much to share really. Yesterday I got a phone call from Adam's School to say he forgot to take a pen with him. LOL. Ummm...... Okay. Every morning I say the same things including 'Has your pencil case got everything in it that you need?'.
Christopher was the last one out of school yesterday because he lost his lunch box and had gone with the teacher to try and find it. They went up to the canteen but it wasn't there. In the end they found it at the other side of the school. He had put it on the wrong trolley after his lunch so it was sitting outside the wrong class.
Lewis lost his jumper. I think yesterday was a 'forgetful' day - don't you?
We started watching 'Ghosts of girlfriends past' last night. So far so good but by ten I was ready for bed so we will watch the remainder tonight. Has anyone seen 'Butterfly Effect 3?' That is what we will be watching on Wednesday. I am looking forward to it because the first one was amazing. Number 2 was okay but not as good as the first. I will tell you my opinion on Thursday!
See you soon!

First of all - Remembering my Dad today on his birthday. I bet he is there with his bag of 'Dolly Mixtures' watching the horse racing :) So may years have passed and we have all changed so much since we saw him. I often wonder what he would think about so many things. Life sure has changed.
Did you watch? £100,000!!!!!!!! OMG! Now he can buy his Dad some teeth. LOL.
Adam went out with his girlfriend today - bless :) They went into town and for a McDonalds.
A lot of TV talk tonight. First of all - remember to watch the X Factor tomorrow night - the last of the auditions. And also, Celebrity Family Fortunes because the 'Loose Woman' are on one team. They all make me laugh. And not sure if anyone watches Harpers Island? BBC 3 at 9pm. If you don't - why? LOL.
So now I have filled your night tomorrow with lots to entertain you - I am off. Nice early night for me tonight. I love my bed. Yawn.
Sweet Dreams!!!

Princess Zara :)
They are playing the Xbox together and all you can hear is lots of giggling. They are having lots of fun!
DH had the day off today and we went over to Jack's Patch for breakfast. We had the BIG breakfast and it was very yummy. We have not wanted anything else since.
Considering we have another person in the house it is remarkably quiet (besides the giggling)....I wonder why. Lets try and work it out. Okay. So if I say that Lew is at his friends house down the road and that Matt is asleep - do you think that may have something to do with it???
Oh no!!! I gotta go! My little boy is corrupting the mind of that sweet girl down there. He has put on Grand Theat Auto and is teaching her how to shoot people and steal cars. She is kind of encouraging him, asking him to help her shoot the Cop. Gotta go remove the game from his reach...

I am soooo bad! Shame on me!
Let's think of any news I have to share. Well, the other day when I was waiting to take Christopher into class Zara's Dad came and said that Zara keeps talking about Christopher and how she wants him to go to her house or for her to go to his. They just stood grinning at each other :) Anyway, to cut a long story short, she is coming for tea tomorrow. He is just so excited!!!!!
On the subject of school, I have been having problems with Christopher bringing home the same finished book again. And it took 4 notes to school to actually get a book for him to read. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! BUT - he has now finished all the level books (levels 0 to 24) so is now on the accelerated reading programme. He is on level 2.6 and after each book he completes he has to take a comprehension quiz on the PC. Lewis is on the same programme - and he is the highest level in his class at a 4.9. So Christopher is doing really well considering he is in year 1 and Lew is in year 5!!!!
Speaking of Lew. He has a school trip in December to Brixham....LOL. It is £80 but he stays for 3 days and 2 nights, and does things like kayaking, problem solving & raft building. He is really excited about it. I just know that it will be so quiet without Lewis for 3 days. LOL. Bless him.
Well, I hope I have made up for being missing so long. I will try and do better. Now I am off to sit in the corner like a naughty girl.

I need an iphone. I saw the ad for the neat 'app' that lets two iphone users 'flick' across any photos they want to share. And bump phones together to access bluetooth between the two. Sweet & neat!!!
Nothing much to update you all on. Boys doing well at school. Christopher & Zara are always sitting together when I go to pick him up. So sweet. He said he would like her to come for tea.
Anyway. Have a nice evening and be back soon!

yesterday saw my OLDER (needed to get that point across!!!!) sister turn 40. Because I am such a nice sister I reminded her of a few things. For example, I told her she only has another ten years to go and she will be able to take out a SunLife over 50 plan (you know the one - 'If you want to leave your loved ones more then just happy memories'....lol) and she will also be able to go on Saga holiday. LMAO!!!!
Yesterday we went for a walk along Babbacombe Downs until the sky went a really nasty jet black colour and we rushed back to the car. No sooner did we drive off then Mr Sun came out again. Someone was playing tricks on me I think!
Squirrel got some new shoes yesterday. We took him to Clarks to get his feet measured - and he started to cry. He HATES getting his feet measured. The lady asked him what his name was. He had a grumpy face and said 'No'. She said 'Your name isn't No is it? What is your real name?' so he proudly announced 'Pooh'. Nice one Squirrel!!!!

so all I will say is that when I lookd through the window today Christopher was sitting next to Zara with a big smile on his face. She decided she did want to be his friend after all.
That's all for now folks.

Adam came out saying his day was 'okay' which is normal for him.
Picked Furry up (was watching him through the window - awwwww) and he said his day was okay (see a pattern forming). He got quite excited because he saw Lewis twice in the playground. When we were in the car I asked him if he saw Zara and he said, with tears in his eyes 'She isn't my friend anymore - she told me she didn't want to be my friend'. And then he said 'No-one is my friend. I have no friends' and was almost crying.
Lew came down saying he got lost - LMAO! Okay Lew - you have only been in the same school for 6 years. He then said how he went into Christopher's playground to sit with him because he was sat on the bench all alone.
Waaaaaaaaaaaaa! My poor baby boy!!!! Someone. Anyone. Please be his friend :**(

The day arrived waaaaaaaaaaay too quickly. :(
All my babies looked extra smart in their new uniform (pics to follow) and we stopped off and had sausage and pancakes for breakfast as that is Christopher's fav thing at breakfast time.
Lew jumped out the car as soon as we got to school and ran off (bye Lew!) and I walked Christopher up. His new classroom is next door the his old one - which is what I was hoping for, as the other Year 1 classrooms are on the other side of the school so the kids get dropped off at the hall. At least his classroom still gives parents to option of going in and kissing them goodbye at the table instead of outside. He didn't cry and gave me a kiss and picked up his pencil and started his work.
I then had to drop Add off as he started later today to allow the new children time to settle before everyone else arrived. He didn't want to go but got out saying 'Glad it's Thursday already' Bless him.
I will be back to tell you how their first days went later.

???????
Life can be so mean. Does anyone understand why? If so please do share with me.
Matt has been friends with Richard for years now - some may remember me sharing the Prom pictures 3 years ago of them both? Well, Richard has CF. Most sufferers do badly at school because of the amount of time they are off ill and in hospital. But Richard went to Grammar, passed his GCSE's all with A's and A*'s. He went on to 6th form. He works most days and saves some of his money, wanting to change his car soon.
He is sick. He has been sleeping a lot the last week or so. He is being admitted to hospital for 2 weeks and then will have to have infusions at home for a further 4 weeks. His Dad is worried. They all know he won't live to be an old man. Only half of sufferers will live to see 35. 3 young people die every week in the UK from CF. Can you imagine knowing you will not lead a long life - seeing all your mates around you and knowing they will most likely live long lives. Knowing your parents will end up having to say Goodbye. Or on the other hand - knowing you will one day have to say Goodbye to your child as their illness wins?
Sorry to ramble. Just hearing that he is really sick at the moment just makes me sad. It is not fair :(

3 sets of uniform - all labelled. 3 heads of hair - all cut. 4 little people - bathed and nails cut. All I need now is a new tape for my label maker so I can get the book/PE bags labelled and I am done!
I asked each of them if they were looking forward to going back to school and seeing their friends again. Each of them said No. LOL. What friendly children I have!!
Thursday is the big day! Be sure to check back then for pictures of them in their new school uniform :)
