Beyond sad...

I didn't want to post this on Oliver's birthday post.

Carl's Aunt's sister has just found out that her 3 year old little girl has a brain tumor. It is deep in her brain so is inoperable. They can do nothing for her. They have to enjoy her while they can.

Words fail me. There are none to describe how that family must feel. They said that she was dancing around the room, totally oblivious to what was going on. How can you even try to act normal? How can you hold back the tears so she does not ask what is wrong?

I think that there is nothing worse the world could throw at you then to have your child seriously ill. To watch they in pain and to not be able to help them. To face the prospect of losing them. It is unthinkable.

When I hear stories where young children have lost their Mum I find it heartbreaking, imagining those little people living without the person they need most. Jade Goody and her little boys spring to mind. But I think this is so so much worse. Maybe Jade dying was not all it seemed. Maybe the Angel of death was going to take one of her children but was gentle on her so took her instead?

Happy Happy Birthday...

to my sweet little FOUR year old! Wow! 4! My little firecracker has given so much love in 4 years - what a total delight he is. Full of energy, full of mischief, full of love. He has given me so much, more than a little person could ever understand. I love that little boy so much.

Birthday pics to come tomorrow :)

Sackboy :)

We are on our way to Plymouth to buy a £5 c sackboy beanie toy from Argos. That sounds a bit mad doesn't it? But it was the only place that had one.

Oliver is really excited about his birthday next week. He asks every day if it is his birthday yet. I told him this morning that it is one week til his party. His reply?? AWESOME!!!

Who watched the X factor last night? I am seriously thinking of not bothering. They all are rubbish. I would like either one direction to win or Matt. But cant say they are great.

Celebrity starts next Sunday. So far I have heard the Stacey from the Xfactor is in it, and Linford Cristie, Jedward, Nigel Havers and Gail Porter. Anyone heard any different?

Baby Sam has his baby check on Tuesday. He is so cute. He loves sitting himself up and looks really proud of himself :) I have some pics to share later.

Anyway, we are close to our destination so I will say bye for now xxxx

Just a little story...

‎"My attractive male neighbour is completely paranoid.
He thinks I'm following or even stalking him, he is worried that I may be obsessed with him and any time he hears a noise in his house he is.....purified? Oh, wait: petrified. Sorry, it's not easy reading a diary through binoculars from a tree."
