Just look at that sun!

WOW! Too hot today!!!! Squirrel has been playing out in the garden, he just loves being outside! I am a bit fed up because the scaffolding is still up even though the work is finished. And they had to take down our washing line. So although the weather is gorgeous I had to putmy washing in the dryer :(

I made a new Squirrel siggy today using a pic of him in the bath...

When we went to collect Christopher we saw Lewis's class out on the field doing PE. Lewis was sitting under the tree while everyone else ran around playing football. Squirrel got sooooooooo excited seeing Lew and ran up to him shouting 'Hiya' and then jumped on him, smothering him in huge cuddles. Lew said he isn't into football and all that so he sits and watches. LMAO! Squirrel cried lots when we walked away. He wanted to play 'ball' with Lew.

The weekend is almost here....

Although it has been a short week it still seems to be going so slowly. I am sure Christopher would agree with me ;)

Well, Adam is back to school tomorrow. He is thrilled about that! Lew & Furry go back on Tuesday. So everything is finally going back to normal. And although I don't want to set my alarm and get up it will be good to get back into a routine.

We went shopping today and came home and started unpacking the bags. Squirrel was being a darling and helping us. Or maybe not! He took the gravy granules and ran away with them while we were busy. I was like 'Squirrel is quiet ~ what is he up to?' and then we saw him, sat in the lounge in a pile of gravy granules. They were all over the carpet. Thanks Squirrel!!!!

Farewell Christmas!

Decided having a blog layout saying 'Twas the night before Christmas' was a bit outdated already ~ so had a little change last night. Not really the ideal layout so it won't be sticking around for long. I need something more 'winterish' so it will be all change again soon.

Well DH went back to work today. So it is back to normal for him. But we still have another week before it is back to school ~ so that means another week of playing and being lazy! Sheer Bliss!

Beautiful morning (and a new siggy)

First of all, this morning after dropping Lew to school, I headed out to the cemetery to make sure all was nice and tidy for Nan. It was so beautiful up there. It was 8.30 and no-one else was around. The sun was shining brightly and all you could hear was the birds singing away. It felt so peaceful. I could have stayed there for hours. And as I turned to leave, a white feather floated down and landed at my feet.

I went and got some pancakes for Christopher as soon as I left. I handed over £10 and got 4 £2 coins in my change. It sure felt like Nan was saying Hi to me today...
