Can you beat The Cube?

We had fun!

I offered prizes, starting at a lucky dip from my goodie bag up to £10 if you can go all the way. Furry started, he beat 2 rounds and then lost. He ran off crying....lol...

Lew went further but on his 'bounce the ball once and get it into the target container' he lost 5 lives and walked away with nothing. He didn't run off crying but Furry was still in the kitchen crying.... ha ha ha! Bless!

Adam was doing reeeeally well! He was on round 4 and still had 9 lives, his simplify and his trial run. Then it all went wrong - he too left with nothing. Just as he was losing his final life Matt walked in. He said 'Let me have a go' and tried to do the challenge Adam had just lost. Once he realised that he could win prizes he decided he wanted to play. On his first game he lost 4 lives...but he always seems to come out smelling of roses so to speak and he managed to get all the way up to, and walk away with £5. Damn! He left the house quite happy!

I downloaded a free 'App' for my phone today. This is what it did:

New beginnings...

I have been so slack lately. Rather than trying to catch you up on what has been going on and making excuses about why I haven't been updating very often I thought I would start afresh from today. So here I am am again :)

I got the electronic board game 'The Cube' today. We haven't had much time to play yet but I gave it a 'trial run'. I thought it would be great fun for Christmas. You get an electronic board where half the games are played (for example: wait for the box to appear and press the button within 0.35 seconds) and then lots of games to be played with the equipment included in the box. Now I started off really well. I was at £20,000 with 9 lives remaining. My next game involved holding a pole with a flat surface on the top of it. I had to balance a ball on the surface for 15 seconds. Well I was rubbish at it. The kids were laughing at me. I 'simplified' the game and got a bigger area on which to balance the ball. I was still rubbish and walked away with nothing. Ha ha ha!

It is 3 weeks till my little Squirrels birthday. We will be having a little party for him - so keep your eye open for an invite. There will be LOTS of games of pass the parcel as he LOVES playing that. Maybe we could have some entertainment? Who would like to watch 'Tracey on the trampoline after a bottle of Vodka?' LOL!!! I will have to see if she is free that day!!!

Be back again tomorrow - maybe with some pics from our attempt at beating 'The Cube'!!!
