Ouch...

Me is a cripple :(

I don't like to complain but Iam going to anyway. I think I must have slept funny on Friday night because partway through yesterday my shoulder started to hurt. It got worse and worse and now my neck/shoulder and arm are killing me. It kept me awake a lot last night. Daddy got up and got me some pills and water like a good boy. Didn't really help much. Today, everyone went out to the beach and I stayed home alone feeling sorry for myself. Sympathy please!

Back to school tomorrow. I am soooooo excited about having to set my alarm and drag myself out of bed. :(

Furrys brthday on Friday and I have no idea what to get for him. I asked him yesterday what he would like. He said 'I don't know' so Lew said 'Its six days till your birthday so you better think of something' and he looked surprised and said 'Is it?'. Damn you Lewis, could have got away with it this year ;) He is working on a list.

Well, seeing I am full of joy and happiness I will say Bye for now. ;)

Could I be any more P'd off??

Nope.

Want to know why?

Matt has sold the present we got him for his 21st birthday (his laptop) so he can get Lucy something nice for her 21st.

I could go on about how I feel right now but I won't. I am sure you can guess without me having to.

*Sigh*

Miserable weather - it makes me miserable. Just to warn you.

This morning I popped into Sainsburys before school and by the time I got home I was soaked. I had to put my PJ's back on so I could dry my clothes :( And now they are nice and dry and it is almost time to venture back out. Lovely!

I am fed up with having feet so puffy that they hurt to walk - so I have been sitting with my feet up as much as possible today - and they are looking pretty good compared to normal. I do feel quite lazy but never mind ;)

Okay. I am trying soooooooo hard not to start moaning - but I reeeeeally need to. Can I? Pleeeeease????? Tell you what - my grumble will be in red so you can skip the red if you don't want to listen to my whining.

On 13th December Matt walked out of his job after 2 1/2 years. He had been out drinking the night before till 4am and had to start at 6am so was tired and feeling rough. He was told off for being late (bear in mind that he was late every day and they told him and told him) and they told him he had to go see the manager at the end of his shift. He decided he wouldn't wait for them to fire him so walked out. He got his last pay on 23rd December. He did not be sensible with this money considering - he spent over £100 on 2 nights out. So he wasted money and then the moaning started. He needed me to pay £250 for a Gym Membership for him. Ummm.....No. I told him to go get a job. He refused. He said he did not want a job.

Anyway, since then we have had many fights over money. He often brings up the whole Gym thing, the fact he doesn't want to work, the fact that he didn't even want to claim jobseekers because he didn't want a job. So for the past 8 weeks he has been scrounging money & food. And finally agreed to claim jobseekers - but has said if they find him a job he will refuse. He still has not had any money because 1) he walked out of a job and 2) he waited so long to claim. Over this time he has called me all the names under the sun. Would you believe he got so nasty because I told him I would buy him the shopping he had listed from Asda instead of the shop he wanted it from? Yes, he left me shopping lists and then told me WHERE I had to buy it from.

The last couple of weeks he has been helping himself to whatever he wants. He managed to use 4 of my 6 pints of milk and then say I don't shop properly because I ran out of milk! He ate my loaf of bread in a day and then moaned I should stop being lazy and go buy some more!!! His actual words were 'Stop being so lazy and go buy some more. I am hungry for Christ Sake'.

He just came and asked what he could have to eat. I said that there was some chips if he wanted them. Or Spaghetti on toast. Or potatoes. His reply? 'I can't go on like this for much longer. Being offered scraps - and the scraps are just cr*p.' I didn't reply (trying to stay calm) but maybe my face said it all because he started yelling 'What you looking like that for? Just because you give me cr*p you can't handle it and pull a face'. I told him he was ungrateful and to not eat it then and he yelled 'I won't, dont worry' and slammed the door and stamped upstairs and put his music on way too loud. God he knows how to irritate me.

Okay. I am back! I was sitting here stewing and needed to get it out. Thanks for letting me moan!

I will be back later if I have any news from school or whatever to share. Better get on with a bit of work so I can rest my feet again later ;)

Windows....waaaaaaaaaaa!

Sorry! I mean Windows 7. Lovely, stable Windows 7.

So I have had a big issue with missing hard drive space. Bear in mind that the laptop is 250 gigs, and that I have NO photos, Video, Scrap kits...NOTHING...stored on it. But my free space was 'critical', red, 240 megs left. And despite both myself and DH looking and hunting we had no idea where all the apparent files were that had filled it up. Doing a little research we found that Vista has issues with laptops and hard drive space - with many people reporting approx 5 gigs a day disappearing or 'being used' when they had download/stored nothing. Sounds about right. Last night I had just over 4 gigs free when I shut down. Switched on this am and had nothing free. Huh??? Anyway, in a moment of desperation I decided to do a total wipe. So we formatted my hard drive. And DH has been testing out Windows 7 for a while now and says it is the best windows ever. So after much persuasion I agreed to have him install it.

So here I am - with a bare hard drive and Windows 7. Photoshop installed. Great! Job done. Email set up - cool - no prob's. So I sit here and start looking around, trying to get used the the layout. Looking okay so far. Then I logged into Facebook. And I cried. Everytime I try and play my games (I love my cafe, farm and fish games) IE crashes and shuts down. Waaaaaaaaaa!!!! HELP!!!! My farm needs planting, my fish need feeding and my dishes need serving. What to do????

Anyway, while I sit and impatiently wait for DH to get home and help me I will get out my camera and try and get a pic for today. However, I may well hit problems when it comes to opening the image if my games are anything to go by...

Watch this space!!!!

Moan, moan, moan...

Just feel like having a little grumble. Is that okay? If you do not want to read my moans then I suggest you read no further ;)

Let's begin with my moans for today. Got yet another letter from school about Adam's lack of participation in PE lessons. Up to now they have been on blue paper and he has had countless detentions after school, all of which really annoy me as it holds me up after school. Well todays letter in on red paper. Scary stuff hey?! I think they are really mad at him. Anyway, it said he has been placed on subject report for 6 weeks. That it is a legal requirement that he takes full part in PE lessons unless a doctor deems him medically unable. That he has another after school detention tomorrow. Yawn. I am bored by this now. Even when he takes his kit he pretends he hasn't got it. He hates PE. I hate moaning about it because I remember how much I hated it too. And the silly thing is - last week he was off for one PE lesson as he was ill and the other one we sent a note saying he still had a nasty chesty cough so could he be excused. Well no, he couldn't. They will take no notice of a parents letter - it must be a Drs letter. Okay then. Yeah. Whatever.

Next up on my moan list. Christopher went off to school today with his little packed lunch. It was only as I was leaving that I realised from listening in on a conversation (not that I am nosey I must add!) that today should have been his class Christmas lunch. And that he will miss out. Why? Because he was away last week when the letter was given out. Why could they not have given him his letter yesterday? It could have been paid for this morning and he wouldn't be the odd one out :( And can I also say still no reading for him in class. Failing school? No. They say the paper was unfair. I beg to differ.

Next we go to yesterdays moans. Had my hospital appointment and Daddy had Squirrel. Appt went well except for being used as a pin cushion. I had arranged to be picked up at quarter past by him (he had to go to Exeter - loooong story I won't bore you with) but was out 15 mins early. The weather was horrible. I was starving. I tried to ring him to say I am ready if you are around. No reply. So I rang again. No reply. I text him saying I was ready and the ring me so I could tell him where I would be waiting. I will try not to confuse you but basically he rang back. Said he hadn't answered my calls because his handsfree hadn't kicked in (it happens - we have the same thing and it happens to me too). He comes and gets me. Said he was driving along Hele on his way home from Exeter. (??? Not sure how that could be part of his route). First thing I saw was that his handsfree WAS connected - and if it doesn't connect it wont as you are driving along. Asked Squirrel if he had a nice morning and he said 'Nanny'. So Carl pipes up with 'Oh yes, I saw my Mum in Farm food car park so stopped to say hello'. So I said 'That was why you didn't answer?' and he gets all snappy saying I pulled into the car park - jumped out and the phone rang. Said got to go and got back in'. Now I was all grumpy and hungry and questioned how he was dry. The rain was pouring down but he was dry. He argued he was wet. Ummm...okay. The conversation gets heated. I say 'Why don't you just be honest about where you were?' he said he was. He got all nasty because I didn't believe him. I asked if he stopped at his Mums. He started swearing saying No he didn't and that he swears on my life he didn't. Anyway, basically he ends up saying he stopped in his Mums to use the toilet. Oh cheers for swearing on my life you didn't! He says he didn't go in. He just went in quickly. Huh??????? We went home. I was mad at him for causing such a fuss. For no reason. He lies about such stupid things. Why? I have said to him often to see his Mum as often as he wants. Why lie? For what gain? It makes no sense? Anyway. I go home and get in my car and go off alone. I am hungry and feeling sorry for myself and I cry. Lots. Being silly? Yes. But I was feeling sorry for myself and throwing a nice pity party.

This brings me onto my next moan. While I was in the hospital Matt text me to ask if I could pick him up from work. I replied with a text saying 'I am at the hospital so can't. Sorry'. He did not reply asking why or what for - just 'What???!!! What about me? It is raining?'. Anyway. So here I am driving around, crying like a baby and decide to go home and go to bed. So as I am turning into the carpark Matt rings and asks where I am and can I get him. I am crying and say 'No sorry. I have just got home and I am not going back out'. He didn't ask 'What is wrong? Or why are you crying?' he just started moaning about the rain and how unfair I was. I basically tell him I don't need to listen to him moaning and hang up. A few seconds later I get a text. I really thought it would ask what was wrong but it actually said: 'F*ck off - you emotional wreck'.

I have to start a new paragraph to say how sweet is he? And he still has not asked what was wrong or anything. He has not said a word to me. He has no idea what I was at the hospital for. Or what happened there. I could have found out I was dying for all he knows.

God I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful son.

I will be back tomorrow about Lew's trip. And I promise I will try not to moan at all.

Oh happy days....

Not the best of days. Don't even try and work it out. But somehow, for some reason, Adam threw something across the room - it hit the flat screen PC monitor and BANG! Smashed. Am I happy? No is putting it mildly. Anyone ever had a flat screen monitor smash before? Obviously it will now be fit for the bin, but it is weird how they break. Turned off you would never think anything was wrong as the black screen is intact. However it is the layer behind the black sheet that breaks. And that is not visible until you switch it on. All you are greeted with is a white screen with what looks like smashed glass. Gone forever :( I may actually take a pic before we throw it - just cause I know you are desperate to see.

Sad thing is he thinks it isn't really his fault because he wasn't 'aiming for it' or anything. Huh? And that matters because? Well after a nice 'telling off' from me he was crying and saying sorry. He was planning on selling his PSP because he wanted to buy himself something - but now his PSP WILL be sold but the money will go towards replacing the monitor. Trying to look on the brightside I am thankful that it was the monitor on Lew's PC as that was the oldest flatscreen we have - and although it cost £200 when Daddy bought it, it was a long time ago. If it had been the monitor on the PC Adam plays on, well it would have been so much worse as it was bought last Christmas and is a 22" and I may be up on a murder charge if it was that one ;)

Anyway. I thought Daddy would have gone mental, seeing he paid for it - but although he was cross he didn't react nowhere near as bad as what I did. It has made me sit and think that I really need contents insurance - including accidental damage on certain things - like the TV. Can you imagine if the screen on that ever smashed? We have had it for aaaaaaaaages now - over a year - but it is still the biggest screen you can buy at Currys or Comet. We simply could not afford to replace it.

Enough of my moaning. See you all soon. And remember I will have lots of pics from Crealy on Saturday of Furry & Zara :)

See the patches?? And Happy Birthday...

to my 'baby'. I feel sooooooooo old seeing him turn 20. 20 years?! Wow! That is such a long time. It really doesn't seem 20 years since I had this screaming little bundle placed in my arms as I sat thinking 'What am I supposed to do with him?' I remember buzzing the nurse for everything - asking permission to change his nappy......LOL. I think we taught each other so much....

Can you see the patches from there? The bald ones on my head? From where I am pulling my hair out? I am wondering if I will have any hair left by the school holidays.

I think I have made a decision. But this is subject to change at any given time. I am sure you all are aware that they have no spaces at Shiphay. This left me thinking 'Should I try Sherwell Valley? It is just down the road from me so is the most perfect school based on location. But I know if I take that option then I will never get the chance to send them to Shiphay. I would not move them twice - I couldn't. So after speaking with the man at Paignton I have decided to leave them where they are, for now.

In September, as the schools start the new term, spaces sometimes become available. If they find in September that they can fit them in they will let me know. I know this will mean a waste of money of the top half of their School Uniform - but I am only going to get them 1 set each and have to wash and wear until I hear back. If there are no spaces still I can re-apply in November. Then they look for spaces in December and if there is any they can move January next year. The same thing can happen in April.

I was always dead against moving them part ways through a school year but if that gives them a better chance of getting in then that is what I will do. I would even be tempted to move just Christopher if the option came up. I know that sounds crazy but he still has 6 years in Primary School. I could send Lewis to Breakfast club at Barton, meaning he would be dropped off at 8, giving me time to come back and drop Christopher (and in time Squirrel) off. At the end of the day I would collect Adam, drop him at Barton to wait for Lew - the come back and get Christopher before going and picking up Adam & Lewis. Sounds like a nightmare I know but I would be prepared to do that if it meant giving Furry the best schooling available to him.

Before I go let me tell you something Squirrel said today. We were walking along and he saw a crushed snail on the ground. He stopped to take a closer look before announcing: 'Mummy - Broke'. LOL. Yes Squirrel - I guess the snail is broken.

I will be back later of it is report day. I am thinking maybe it is late this year and will be next Friday??

And just for TJ

Thought you may like to see this. This is from their own mouths:

South West Water achieved an underlying operating profit of £185.0 million in 2007/08

So profit. After everything was paid, done and dusted. How does that make you feel?

Amanda x x

Tuesday, June 23, 2009

Oh my good Lord...

Just a little grumble for today!

I always knew that South West Water charged more then anywhere else in the country - but I never realised by how much! I was watching 'The Wright Stuff' today (a chat show hosted by Matthew Wright on 5) and each morning they talk about a few things from that days newspapers. Today they talked about how by 2014 water bills would have risen by 45%. Then they went on the use SWW as an example, saying it would be cheaper to bathe in bottled water....LOL. They showed a chart of different water companies in the country and how much they charge now and how much they will be charging in 2014. At the moment SWW charge just under £800 a year (set to rise to over a thousand pounds), and other areas ranged from £390 to just over £500 a year! Yep! We pay double what a lot of places pay! O...M...G! In fact, no other area will pay what we pay now in 2014! Some areas will still be under £600....

Why????

Lots to share!

Can I start off with a grumble?

I was sooooooooooo cross today. We went into the Tesco garage on the way to Barton to collect Lew & Furry. We often do this. As soon as a light on my gauge goes out I top my petrol back up. So I get out the car (as usual) and open the door to let Adam out (as usual). Squirrel stays in the car strapped into his seat (again, as usual). I open my filler cap and put the nozzle in. Adam is stood beside me talking, I am pulling the trigger but nothing happens. Now let me say that the garage was really busy. And suddenly a voice comes over the forecourt tanoy 'Can the little boy get in the car'. My first thought was that Squirrel had climbed out his seat and out the window. But No. He is safely in his chair. So then I glance across the busy forecourt, expecting to see a little kid running around, but all I see is EVERYONE staring at me. It is only then that the 'Little Boy' they were referring to was Adam. So I told him to get back in the car.

Once I had filled up I got him back out the car and went inside to queue. The younger assistant was free first but I said how I wanted to go to the other cashier (the one who had made the announcement).

I asked her where the signs were saying Children had to remain in the car, and how they had a sign saying under 16's were not to use the pumps, but nothing to say they couldn't stand beside their parents! She said that they would be shut down if he was seen standing beside me. Ummmm.....Okay. I told her how he stood there every time I filled up, usually twice a week. And that in the 18 years that I have been driving have NEVER experienced anything like it before. I told her how embarrassing it was having the whole place staring at me. And also how embarrassing it was for a 13 year old boy to be called a 'little boy' out loud like that. Seriously, I was NOT happy.

Christopher had his school trip to Pennywell Farm today. The coach was late back so we were stood around waiting for ages. But he had a good day, and sat next to Zara on the coach, so it was worth it.

Lewis is going to the Zoo on 3rd July (Matt's Birthday) and the the Riviera Center to watch an Orchestra on his birthday. Sad thing is he won't get back to school until late, so he will have to wait even longer to get home to his pressies!

Squirrel had great fun playing with his Umbrella today. I took some pics and turned them into a little slideshow for you. So turn on your sound and sit back and enjoy!

See you tomorrow!

What am I doing???? Am I MAD??!!

No comment on that please unless it is nice.

Seriously though, this popped into my mind yesterday. I really do question my mental state at times. Read on and give your opinion..

I dropped Furry at school and was walking back past the Nursery and I looked at the total skanky mingers that stood there waiting to take their kids into Nursery. I know that sounds nasty and harsh, but seriously. It looked as if the little ones had been dragged out of bed and out the door. Their hair was unbrushed, clothes dirty, food all over their face. The parents were no better. And you are not talking about 1 or 2...almost everyone was the same. The clean ones stood out. And then I started thinking about waiting to pick Furry up each day. There are a bunch the same near where I wait. They are loud, dirty, AWFUL language. I seriously think that the school must be home to the roughest people in Torquay. But then look at Lichfield and the surrounding areas. They are full of skank. Really rough, dodgy people. I wouldn't walk around there alone of an evening. (I may sound nasty but a bar of soap doesn't cost much ~ and it only takes time to brush your kids hair in the mornings).

Then I started thinking about the school in general. All sorts ent through my mind, from the way I was spoken to about the video of Christopher that time to how sometimes Christopher brings home the same FINISHED book for a full week. Almost as if he can read so it doesn't matter. Then Lewis has come home since 27th April with no reading book. The first day I wrote a note in his Home School Contact Book saying he had read a book at home as he had no book from school. There was no comment, and still no book. So I left another comment saying 'Please can Lewis have a reading book?'. Still no reply. Each day I left a comment saying things like 'Still no book' and 'Yet another day with no book'. Then yesterday he came home with a comment back saying 'I am disappointed that Lewis hasn't been reading'. HUH?! He told me that he was told he would get a detention if he doesn't read at home. (Oh and there was STILL no reading book). I had to write yet again and say how Lewis HAS been reading at home, but tha he has been reading the books I have for him and not a school book as he hasn't got one. Sooooooooooo frustrating!!!

Why? Why do I still carry on driving to Barton every day to take them to school? I wish I could be harder. I see so many parents move their kids school. Why can't I stop faffing about and just do it? Why do I sit and think 'They won't know anyone' and see that as a reason to stay where we are? Maybe if I had the courage to move them they would flourish and make some fantastic friends ~ friends who live near where they live so they can see them out of school too.

Sometimes I wish I could not be so soppy and do what could possibly be the best thing for them. A couple weeks of tears in exchange for a GOOD education? Why does that not push me to make the change? To be able to walk down the road to school and not get stuck in the rush hour traffic.

I just feel so sad that I am too weak. *Sigh*

Grrrrrrrrr

Yep. Todays post is just one big long grumble.

Adam has a detention at school tomorrow. Which means he will finish at 3 instead of 2.30. Let me start off by saying that the reason he has a detention is because he never took cooking ingredients for his lesson. Okay so he should have told me he had cooking and he should have taken the ingredients ~ but really? An after school detention instead of a break detention? Seems harsh. When you see how some of the kids at that school behave, and anyone who knows Add knows he is just soooooooooo well behaved. If he had been nuaghty that would be one thing ~ but because he forgot cooking???

Anyway. So this means that I can't collect him from school. I will be getting Lew & Furry. So he will have to walk to Barton alone. And remember the reason why Westlands finishes at half two. It is because when they finished at 3 they would bump into the kids coming out of Cuthbert Mayne and it caused conflict and fights would start (sick I know). So Add has to walk past all of those alone. And he will also bump into the TTC kids. And there is nothing I can do about it.

The school say they are in no way responsible for a child getting home after a detention. So it is basically tough luck Adam.

So there you have it. My moan for the day. Grrrrrrrrrrrr. And wish Add luck on his walk. :(

Hotpoint SUCK!

Our Washing Machine is 4 months old. And it has broken. And Hotpoint suck. So now you know. LOL!

When it comes to pumping out the water it makes a funny noise, then errors and the LCD display flashes F-05. So we googled the error code and it seems like it is a problem with the pump. So DH rang them today. And you want to know what they said?

HP: What you need to do is pull out the washing machine and drain the water through the pipe. The F-05 code means you under filled the machine.

DH: Under filled the machine? I don't think so (in a rude tone).

HP: Overfilled it then?

DH: No. I haven't overfilled it, or underfilled it. But how can you 'under fill' a washing machine?

HP: if you only put a few items in it can produce an error code, meaning as I said before that you need to...(repeats herself)

DH: So if an old lady living alone needed to wash her dress and cardigan (LOL at DH) her machine would break?

HP: Yes.

DH: And you would expect her to pull out a heavy washing machine and drain the water herself?

HP: Ummm... Shall I get an engineer to come and take a look for you?

DH: Yes please. My error is related to the pump...

HP: How do you know that?

DH: I looked it up.

HP: Oh. Okay. We will get someone out to you.

DH: Is this how all Hotpoint machines are now? That you can under fill them? (Okay , leave it now DH!)

HP: Yes, they don't like to be under filled.

Anyway. Squirrel just LOVED the rain today. Here he is jumping in the puddles ;)

These pics will not go any bigger so there isn't much point clicking on them ;) I will see you all tomorrow!

Argggggggghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!

Did the title grab your attention? LOL. Well here's the news. My PC is dead. Died. Sleeping. Gone. It was fine last night when I shut it down. But this morning when I tried to start it up it froze on the first screen, the one that displays the processors logo (if you know what I mean) and it would go no further. The harddrive light on the front on the box stayed on ~ where is should flicker. We tried turning it off and retrying but nothing. We tried entering setup (pressing the F whatever key) but it wouldn't even load that. All that would happen is the harddrive light would stay on. So DH is thinking that it looks like it could be my harddrive. And we all know what that means don't we? Everything stored on there GONE. All my scrap kits and pages that I have made so far this year (with the idea of making a book at the end of the year), photos, music (including all my itunes), videos....the list goes on. We won't even go into the thousands and thousands of fonts, coding for my webpages etc.

Later on DH is going to put one of our old harddrives in and see if it will work then. If it does then that will confirm that it is the harddrive. However if it won't boot up still then it points to other things.

If I were to tell you that I have over 50,000 photos on my PC would you believe me? Well I have pics from my first ever digital camera.

Anyway. Onto a cuter story. Furry is off on his school trip to watch Wall-E today. And I was driving along I saw the coach with him and his class in go by! I will update laer with news on how the day went!

And we have snow!

Not a lot but the kids are out having a great time!

You have seen the advert to name the new Walkers flavour? You've seen the finalists right? Well I have had to get some of the 'Squirrel' flavour crisps...just cause they had a Squirrel on the pack. And then I had to get Squirrel to try them. And that is todays pic(s) of the day!

Picture one shows him taking his first bite...

Picture two shows his reaction. I don't think he was very impressed...

We went for a beach walk again today. It was soooooooooo cold but so refreshing. It was really quiet (no-one else was supid enough to go out in the cold) and the walk was really nice. We were all wrapped up but Squirrel got fed up so we went back to the warm car.
He loves watching 'In the Garden' and here is a pic of him as he is watching...

Christopher has brought home the same reading book for over a week now. Whatever happened to kids reading everyday at school? Just had to get that grumble off my chest!
See you tomorrow with some snow pics!

Skanky Sausage.....LOL!

Christopher took a card to his friend today ~ inviting him around. He should get a reply tomorrow ;)

I met Mum today. I may have been poisoned. LOL! So if you never hear from me you know why! Here is the whole story! Mum treated me to a breakfast in the 'Black Tulip' in Paignton. Me being greedy shoved half my sausage in my mouth in one go. I ate it thinking is had some weird kind of spices or something in it. I carried in eating ~ finishing 3/4 of my sausage when she said 'The sausage is off'. Basically, what I thought was some kind of weird spices was actually the flavour of an off/sour sausage. So I took the remaining part for testing incase I die of poisoning. LOL! Watch this space!

Squirrel has been soooooooooooooo bad today! He LOVES to squeal. A real high pitched squeal. It is embarrasing going anywhere with him. I may need to get him on video so you can see just how bad it is.

Just so you know ~ Feb will be picture a day month. So look forward to that! (If I am alive)

See you tom! (Maybe)

C-c-c-cold!

We went to Decoy for an hour this morning. It was freezing!!!! Our hands were like little ice blocks. But the kids had a great time playing on the slides and rope swings. A couple of pics at the end of this post ;)

I took down the Christmas stuff today. It was nice to have my room back to normal. I am never one to keep it up for the 12 days after rubbish....

NEVER buy anything from Pixmania. They suck! LOL! We got our camcorder from there and also my Mum's Christmas pressie this year. Well when we rang to get a returns number as she had two presents the same they refused to take it back *insert shocked face here*. They said you only have 14 days. We explained that we got it as a Christmas present but they really didn't care. They said there is no exceptions to the 14 day rule. So when they decorated their website in November with 'Christmas gift ideas' they should have said 'But nothing can be returned after Christmas as the 14 days will have passed'. Most companies are pretty good when it comes to gifts at Christmas but they aren't. So there you have it! (I can picture my Mum sitting there now saying 'I told her I would keep it' and'I don't believe it ~ I said would she have trouble sending it back'....LOL!).

Anyway ~ here are your pictures. Have a good Friday :)

Super Day *rolling eyes*

I am feeling miserable ~ so if that comes across in my post ~ good! LOL!

Okay, so the day starts out with me taking pic's of my friends little boy. He is NOT happy and does NOT want his pic taken.

Then I come home, and half hour later I have to pick Adam up from school. I go get petrol, drop him home and then go get Mum.

We go get a McDonalds and sit in the school car park to eat it. Squirrel throws his fries EVERYWHERE. It seriously looks like it has been raining fries in there. We get out to go to the play. The school gate is locked so we have to walk around. We get in the hall, get a seat and Lew's teacher comes over. She says he is in the classroom (the rest of the kids are in the hall ready) and he is not feeling well. His chest is bad and he is crying. She tells me to go see him. Mum & Squirrel stay in the hall.

Lew is sat, dressed in his costume, crying and wheezing badly. The inhaler is in my car and the gate is locked so I say I will walk around, but to give me 10 mins. She gives him some of his friends inhaler. He starts to feel a little better but is not up to the play. He he gets his uniform back on and sits in the audience with us.

Squirrel is a NIGHTMARE. He opens Lew's lunch, picking the Chicken out the sandwich, talking and clapping and trying to get down and play. We are sitting watching the play that Lew isn't even doing.

After, the gate is still locked so Mum walks round by herself while I stand for half an hour in the drizzly rain waiting for Christopher. squirrel is running round in circles.

So I have been out ALL DAY and it was a total disaster. Can I sit and cry now?

Lew is going to be tomorrow's Wednesday Weather kid on the radio ~ which means he will read the weather forecast. I will put it on here after.

Off to sulk now.

Super day!

So last night I went bed and recorded the last half hour of the X Factor. Then I went down this morning, before doing anything else to watch it. I wanted to see it without hearing it anywhere else. About 5 mins into it in walks Add (who had been watching his TV) and says 'I knew she would win'. Ummmmm.......Cheers Add! Not surprised and very pleased!!!!

Next was the Washing Machine. It started making a really bad noise. We thought Squirrel had put a toy car in there, then came a burning smell and soon after came the smoke.

We decided to go for a walk along the beach. We got as far as the Balloon and I had had enough. DH was being a total prat and I told him I didn't want to spend my time walking with him, and I walked home. Sadly this means no pics for you. I took my camera and ended up carrying it home. Blame DH.

An Interview with Lewis...

Will be here tomorrow for you!

I have a little grumble today. Christopher & Squirrel have their trust funds in an account which buys shares. We pay in a small amount each month to buy new shares. On their birthday they give you a new statement ~ letting you know what the shares are worth. On Squirrel's first birthday he had almost £600 in shares. Because of the 'credit crunch' a year on and instead of having more (because we buy some each month) his shares are now worth UNDER £400. I dread to think what Christopher's are worth as he obviously has more than Squirrel, being he is older.

Lewis started 'Christmas Craft Club' at school today. It is for an hour after school and they make Christmas things. Today he came out with a little box, which he cut, coloured and glued himself, filled with sweets wrapped in tissue. He had a good time!

Can't stop ~ Squirrel didn't take a nap today so now I am struggling with a grumpy boy who wants to sleep but isn't allowed to yet.

See you tomorrow!
