Goodbye 2009...

As the countdown begins. Just moments to go!

Amanda x x

Let the countdown begin...

I have a drawer FULL of Party Poppers. I have been and had my hair done. I even got my shoes polished. So I am ready! Outside the townhall a big board shows the hours, mins and secs to go! I had my picture taken by it!

Oh! Hello! Sorry! I was talking about my Animal Crossing game. LOL! But yes, I am ready. My house smells SCRUMMY!!!!! I got lots of the Iceland party food platters (baby it's cold outside!) and have an 'Ice Fountain' to put in my Chocolate Indulgence cake. The 'Lips' is ready as is the Buzz. I have the biggest bottle of Barardi, some Port and loads of lagers. My door is open if you are interested ;)

I have my camcorder ready to tape some of our drunken goings on. Like DH singing badly. But shhhhhhhh.........don't tell!!!!

Cameras. Some you LOVE some you HATE. If you don't know what I am talking about then don't worry! If you do, I am sorry. *insert sad face*

Have a great evening wherever you are and whatever you are doing. Stay safe and have fun! See you next year!

Love my Baby!!!

I was sitting watching little Squirrel and thinking just how adorably cute he is!!!! He picked up his 'baby bag' (the bag that clips to the frame of his pushchair ~ the 'Buzzbox') and started looking through it. He found a pen and was like 'Oooooo' and then dug out the Subway booklet and started 'drawing' on it. Then his little hands went back in and found a bag of sweets. A huge smile spread across his face as he saw the 'treasure'. He squeezed the bag and popped them open. 'Eat!' he squealed and started popping the little jelly teddy bears into his mouth. He wasn't aware that I was watching him. It was so cute!

I promised you some pictures didn't I? And I can't go back on a promise ~ so here you go:

Can you believe that tomorrow is the last day of 2008? Where on earth did that year go? Blink! It's gone. Part of me is sad to say Goodbye to 2008, part of me welcomes 2009 hoping it will be a happier year. This past year has been the worst year I can remember ~ or at least the start of it. There have been some good parts sprinkled in there but all in all it has been too sad for my liking. I remember clearly this time last year. I was dreading 2008. I KNEW it was going to be a terrible year. I wanted to be frozen in 2007 forever. I felt safe there. I didn't want to face the changes that I knew would be thrown at me in 2008. But I got through it. The year has finally reached its end. All I hope is that 2009 brings us all a good year. I think after this year we all certainly deserve it. {{{{{{{{{{HUGS TO ALL MY FAMILY}}}}}}}}}

Farewell Christmas!

Decided having a blog layout saying 'Twas the night before Christmas' was a bit outdated already ~ so had a little change last night. Not really the ideal layout so it won't be sticking around for long. I need something more 'winterish' so it will be all change again soon.

Well DH went back to work today. So it is back to normal for him. But we still have another week before it is back to school ~ so that means another week of playing and being lazy! Sheer Bliss!

Who wants to come to my New Years Eve party? Speak now or forever hold your peanuts.

I PROMISE I will share some of my Christmas pic's with you tomorrow. Until then here is a little siggy I threw together today.

See you tomorrow! Have a good evening!

Sorry!

I never got round to posting yesterday.

I have such a special treat for you all though ~ it really will make up for it! Are you ready for it? Well you will have to wait. It will be posted at the end of this message!

I have been soooooo lazy since Christmas. Apart from going to Mum & Mr. T's on Boxing day and to Totnes yesterday cause we are looking for a car for Janet still (we looked at a Green KA which was skank) I have been at home in my jammies. Isn't that what Christmas is all about? Today we have been playing games. A bit of Buzz an a bit of Animal Crossing. And a few old fashioned, not on a console games.

Does anyone have Aminal Crossing for the Wii? I need some friends! I have none :( So if any of you have it and want to either come to my town or invite me to yours, give me a yell! I would LOVE to hear from you!

We watched SuperBad again last night ~ only this was a BluRay version. Didn't really make much difference ~ not like the HD games do. But the film is too funny!

Anyway, time for your treat....

Drum Roll please!!!!!

Here it comes....

Ready?????

You sure????

Boxing Day...

I love Boxing day. You get to be lazy without the stress of doing dinner while trying to keep the kids happy.

We decided to find our Jungle Buzz to play. So after hunting everywhere we ended up finding it in the Playstation console. So all excited we put it on but its says PS2 games are not supported on the PS3 console. Huh? I though that was only the cheap version? It was like £350. Anyway, we ended up going to the PS store and buying the HD version. It was only £3.50. So alls well...

We cooked the other turkey today (we had 3 in total) thinking it would go down a treat with some chips and pickle etc. Then we went off to Mum's for some nibbles. I ended up eating so much (and thanks to Mr. T drinking a fair bit too!) that the thought of it really doesn't sound good. So tomorrow we will be having the turkey, chips etc.

Going back to the afternoon ~ it was good fun. There was so much to eat and drink I feel stuffed like a turkey! We all had a good laugh. Squirrel got drunk on the coke (he never has fizzy drinks usually) and so ran around attacking everyone with the soup ladle ~ finding it hugely amusing! I got some funny pictures. So watch this space!

I have just had a nice soak in a hot bubble bath so better go get dressed. See you soon!

Ho Ho Ho!

Merry Christmas!!!!

Yummy! I can smell my lunch cooking. I am STARVING!!!! I have been looking forward to it for weeks. Christmas dinner is like the Champion of all roasts.

I had a plan! We would open the presents one at a time ~ so we could watch each other.... However it was more like a stampede. I feared for my life! Squirrel was trying to open everyones presents, Christopher was like 'I see my name on that one' trying to push past everyone to leap into the pile. Lewis was 'Get one of mine ~ get one of mine'. Adam was the only one who remained under any type of control. In the end it was all just grab and tear open before Squirrel got there first.

The boys loved their gifts. Squirrel was scared of his digger and wanted the boys Nano copters. He kept running off with it and ended up sobbing when I put them out of his reach. But he calmed down once the wheels were put on his car. He did get a little 'race carish' with it ~ crashed and flew over the top of his. He picked himself up, had a HUGE smile on his face and got back on it.

A bit of conflict (isn't there always?). I took GREAT offence that DH's parents gave to everyone in the house except Matt. To me that is the ultimate in rudeness. He never even had a card. Nothing. Almost like he didn't exist. So I told him I did NOT want my present from them. And I will never want anything from them again. I will fiercely defend and protect my young forever. Hurt or be mean to them and up goes my guard. He doesn't care in the slightest. But I do. And I see the rift that is already apparent growing wider. But that is another story. Those who have known me for ages already know a lot of it.

Well, I better go check that yummy scrummy dinner. I will have tons of pictures for you. So be sure to check again for them ~ either later today or tomorrow. Depends how much Bacardi I drink......LMAO!

Merry Christmas Eve!

I hope you are all ready now? If not ~ why not?!

Lewis loved the Panto. Christopher however said he didn't like it and doesn't want to go again. He said he would have slept if it hadn't been so noisy. LOL!

Adam's appointment went well. He will go in on 18th Feb. He will be having his 'train tracks' fitted soon after. Bless him.

Well I am off to my bath now ~ I will see you all tomorrow!!!!!

Guess what!!!!

It's Christmas Eve tomorrow!!!!!!!! If you were not aware of that little fact ~ come spend 10 mins in my house. You will be reminded by various little people every 5 seconds or so! So even if you suffer from short term memory loss you will not forget this if you are here with me!

Nothing to say tonight. So see you Christmas Eve!

Snow!!!!!

We woke up to a covering of snow! The first snow the boys have seen (it is usually just a few flakes that melt as they touch the ground).

Snow!

(Please do click on these to see them fully ~ the snow is BEAUTIFUL!)

Squirrel in the snow!

Cheeky!

Funny Face Lew

Lew in the snow

Okay. So by this point I am thinking those who live near me are looking out the window, a little confused?! LOL! Okay ~ so I confess, there is no snow. We went to the 'Winter wonderland' at the model village. It was soooooooooo pretty!!!! I have so many pictures, far too many to share them all ~ but here are a few of them. If you want to see more email me and I will sned them your way!

Before I go can I just say that the 4D show was soooooooo good! You sat in a little 'cinema' and had to wear glasses. It seriously looked like things were touching you! But there was a few surprises along the way! For example, the window in the bedroom opened and a puff of wind blew in your face! And a water gun looked like it was almost touching your nose, and out squirted water in your face! And there was bubbles, loads and loads of bubbles floating literally off the screen. There was a few bumpy moments where the seats shook, which afterwards when the lights came back on and I saw Christopher's tears I realised upset some! It really was great! Well worth watching!

Here are the pics :)

I got a pineapple...

Christmas isn't Christmas without a fresh pineapple. It is something that I remember as a kid, always we would have a fresh pineapple, and if you sucked on a slice too hard it would make your lips sore. LOL. I remember having a coconut once, and the shell getting drilled and the milk drained off and then cutting it open....

Squirrel hasn't napped today ~ so he is soooooo tired. Early to bed for him tonight *insert huge smiling face here*. We will be watching Flowers in the Attic. Yes, I know, very sad. The book is such a good read, and I know the film is a terrible let down, but it is something to watch.

Did you know that it is rumoured that the Currys chain is set to close? That includes Dixons and PC World. They are struggling and it is said that they will be closing their doors not long into the new year. The BBC website said that 20 high street chains will be facing the risk of closure as January comes around. That had us sitting naming stores we wouldn't be surprised to see shut. I named The Body Shop, Superdrug, Currys (or comet). I would be shocked if places like: Boots, Sainsburys, Next and Argos closed. What do you think? Who do you predict could close their doors? With Woolworths closing anything is possible. But then again, I can understand it. I mean, we see Woolworths as a place that will always be there. But how often do we shop there? I know I rarely did. If I wanted stuff it would be Argos instead of Woolworths. Or Amazon. The most I would buy in Woolies in the last year is packed lunch boxes for the kids and some sweets for them.

Anyway. Just sharing a few thoughts with you there!

Squirrel is almost asleep on his feet so I better go and put him to bed. I am thinking of going to the Model Village. If I do I will have some pictures to share before Christmas. So watch this space!

Are YOU watching?

The Strictly Come Dancing final? I want Lisa to win, or Tom.

Today I got the last bits of Christmas Shopping. I hunted around and found some King Edwards that are dated 28th December. Got the fruit and Veggies and even the fresh cream!

I ate DH's Choccy from his Advent Calendar today. It was a Whole Nut and mine tasted so good. So I popped open his door, ate the Choccy and closed the door again! LOL. Shhhhhhhhh!

Did I tell you that on Christmas Eve Adam has his appt at the hospital for his teeth? He panicked when I told him cause he thought they would be taking his teeth out. He was like 'Noooooo...not Christmas Eve'! LOL! But he was okay when I explained it was just the pre-op check.

Lewis & Christopher will be going to the Panto on Christmas Eve. Lewis has been for the last 3 or 4 years but Christopher has never been. So this will be his first time.

Do you watch Outnumbered? If not, watch tonight on 1 after the Dancing results. It is so funny!

Anyway, I will see you tomorrow! Have a good evening!

Day 1

Waaaaaaaaa!!! How long till they go back to school? Just kidding!!!!

I didn't get up till 7.50 this morning. Lush! I feel spoilt! We had a lazy day. Well until I had to take Matt out to get his new snake. I had already said I didn't want to go out at all today but he was going on and on. And when we got there they were out. Grrrrr. So I came home again. And no sooner did we get in then they rang and said they were home. So he was off again. Plllllease take me back. So out I go again. And I had to park on the pavement as it was all doubles. He said he would be in and out. 10 mins later I was stressed. I beeped a few times. In the end (over 15 mins of waiting) I got out and banged on the door. I was in a foul mood by now and told the lady 'I am here with him that is buying your snake, Can you tell him to hurry up, he has been over 15 mins and I am on the path. If he doesn't come now he can walk home'. She looked at me like I was a mad person!

Be sure to check back later. I just might have been decorating. After all, Santa is on his way you know!

The last day of school...

Yay!!! I switched my alarm off!

Lots to tell you today. I will start with yesterday. The boys loved their parties. Christopher won a snowman crayon when they did Pass the Parcel. He just LOVES his crayon. He even fell asleep last night with it. I have a pic of him with it (and I added it to the edge of the pic so you can get a clearer view). Lewis however didn't win anything. He said when they did Musical Snowmen he kept coughing and so was out! LOL!

So the washing machine arrived. It was rather embarrasing. The delivery guy rang, saying that we were not coming up on his Sat Nav and was there another street nearby. I was like...Ummmmm....and named a street. After I hung up I thought maybe that wasn't the best one to give him, as it is very narrow and the same street that the Argos van got stuck on. Anyway. 5 mins later they rang back. This is kind of the conversation:

VD= We are the the street you gave us but it is very narrow, so are you on the right or left of it?
M= Ummmm...I don't know.
VD= You don't know?
M= No. I am not very good with directions.
He then descibes where about he is parked and which direction he is facing.
M= I don't know still. (Sounding pretty pathetic by this point)
VD= You haven't a clue where you are?
M= No. Well Yes. I know where I am but don't know how to tell you where I am.
VD= Should I turn down by the Spar shop
M= You can see the Spar shop (getting rather excited by this point). Cool. I know where you are then.
I successfully, at that point, directed them to the door. When they knocked they said 'We found you!' I was like 'Well at least you know where I am ~ even if I don't'. They found me rather amusing (I suppose I am really) and went off chuckling ~ wishing us a Merry Christmas. I could just picture them saying 'Why do we always get the idiots'. LOL!

But my machine is working a treat. And I am almost caught up on the washing that had piled up. So that is good!

Matt is still not well. So he finally went to the Drs. I have been nagging at him for days to go, but he is a typical man and refused. They signed him off work for a few days. He goes back on Sunday. He has eye drops and Anti-Biotics. She said 'You have a fair few infections going on there, from the neck up'. Eye, throat, ear... Basically he is a total mess.

DH needed to go to the dentist yesterday because of his bad tooth. They told him a couple months ago it had to come out but he is a bit of a baby and never made the appointment. They told him he MUST come out. So that is booked for the 10th Feb (the earliest they could do it). They have given him 2 courses of Anti-Biotics. One for now and one is standby in case it flares up again before his next appointment. He is going to be a brave little solider and have it taken out.

Anyway. I think I have said enough for one day. Thanks for reading if you have made it this far! And I will leave you with the pictures I promised. One is Furry and his special Snowman Crayon. The other is his Certificate that I said ages ago I would show you.

And today the weather will be...

bright! LOL! Bless little Lewis! I dragged him out of bed at 6.30 this morning so he could be Gemini's 'Wednesday Weather Kid'. You can listen below ;) I think he did a super job!

Christopher went off to school, all dressed smart in his shirt. He took his fairy cakes with him and also his Christmas Cards for the children in his class. Lew went off in his Chocolate Brown jumper. He didn't want to wear a shirt, and because of his chest I thought it best he keep warm.

Matt is not well. He is achy and tired and has a bad eye. Not sure if he will go to work today.

School is nearly over!!!! Yay!!!!!!!!!! Just tomorrow to go!

Well I am waiting for the washing machine today. Exciting hey?

See you soon and here is Mr Weather Guy!

Super Day *rolling eyes*

I am feeling miserable ~ so if that comes across in my post ~ good! LOL!

Okay, so the day starts out with me taking pic's of my friends little boy. He is NOT happy and does NOT want his pic taken.

Then I come home, and half hour later I have to pick Adam up from school. I go get petrol, drop him home and then go get Mum.

We go get a McDonalds and sit in the school car park to eat it. Squirrel throws his fries EVERYWHERE. It seriously looks like it has been raining fries in there. We get out to go to the play. The school gate is locked so we have to walk around. We get in the hall, get a seat and Lew's teacher comes over. She says he is in the classroom (the rest of the kids are in the hall ready) and he is not feeling well. His chest is bad and he is crying. She tells me to go see him. Mum & Squirrel stay in the hall.

Lew is sat, dressed in his costume, crying and wheezing badly. The inhaler is in my car and the gate is locked so I say I will walk around, but to give me 10 mins. She gives him some of his friends inhaler. He starts to feel a little better but is not up to the play. He he gets his uniform back on and sits in the audience with us.

Squirrel is a NIGHTMARE. He opens Lew's lunch, picking the Chicken out the sandwich, talking and clapping and trying to get down and play. We are sitting watching the play that Lew isn't even doing.

After, the gate is still locked so Mum walks round by herself while I stand for half an hour in the drizzly rain waiting for Christopher. squirrel is running round in circles.

So I have been out ALL DAY and it was a total disaster. Can I sit and cry now?

Lew is going to be tomorrow's Wednesday Weather kid on the radio ~ which means he will read the weather forecast. I will put it on here after.

Off to sulk now.

Nothing much to say...

but I don't want you to think I have been gobbled up by a man eating monster or anything.

Tomorrow I have a nice busy day planned. I am supposed to pop round my friends in the morning to take a few pics of her lil boy in his Santa outfit, as she wants to use the pics to make gifts for Christmas. Then at 12.45 I am picking up my Mum, having a bite of lunch and we are off to Lew's school play (no video!).

Wednesday I have to wait in for the new Washing Machine (yep the other one was dead dead). It is also Christopher's school party. And Thursday is the last day of school (Yip yip!) and Lew's party and Santa vists all the children.

Can't wait for Friday!

Super day!

So last night I went bed and recorded the last half hour of the X Factor. Then I went down this morning, before doing anything else to watch it. I wanted to see it without hearing it anywhere else. About 5 mins into it in walks Add (who had been watching his TV) and says 'I knew she would win'. Ummmmm.......Cheers Add! Not surprised and very pleased!!!!

Next was the Washing Machine. It started making a really bad noise. We thought Squirrel had put a toy car in there, then came a burning smell and soon after came the smoke.

We decided to go for a walk along the beach. We got as far as the Balloon and I had had enough. DH was being a total prat and I told him I didn't want to spend my time walking with him, and I walked home. Sadly this means no pics for you. I took my camera and ended up carrying it home. Blame DH.

The Final

Are you watching?! We are a little behind everyone else as we paused it when it started, but we will fast forward the adverts and then we should catch up.

I have just cut Add, Lew & Furry's hair. Now I have little hairs all over my PJ's. I am going to have to go get changed as it is annoying. Lew has his School Christmas lunch on Monday. And it is Furry's party on Weds, Lew's play on Wed and Lew's party on Thursday. Then they are off school for almost 3 weeks. Yip yip!

Has anyone tried the Xbox 360 game 'You're in the movies'? It looks like so much fun! I keep hinting to DH Santa that I really want it. I think we would all have such a giggle playing it over Christmas. And when people come visit we can all have a go. I think DH Santa is getting the hints!

Busy day today shopping and more shopping! Those pics will be here tomorrow.

TGIF!

Sooooo glad it is Friday. I am so ready for the Christmas break from school. The boys are too ;)

Christopher came home with a little drawstring bag with 2 free books in it today. He said he got it for sitting nicely on the carpet. On of the books was a Poem book. He opened it and read a bit and said 'Hey. This is a book of songs'. I told him it was Poems. He said 'Well Poems are like little songs then'.

The boys are excited (Lew & Furry) because I 'got' them Club Penguin for the DS today. They play Club Penguin online (it is a Disney game for those who are wondering what on earth I am on about) and then can send things from the DS to their online account. Exciting stuff hey?!

I haven't taken any pictures for about a week now. Shocking I know! So I will try and get some new ones for you tomorrow. Have a great Friday!

Sharing...

I know this song has been around for a while now ~ but I thought I would share anyway.

The song and video touch me so much. The words of the song (especially the chorus) makes me think of Nan so much. She is there. I know it.

The video is heart breaking. Watch the first little bit. The size of that poor child laying on the ground. Nothing more then a bag of bones. Then you see a baby, sitting by the road, crying. The cars zooming by. And the love of another child as they go to the baby.

Take a look

Busy Day

Okay, so we went to Plymouth. Wasn't too busy, even though Woolworths was CRAZY. People must have been queing for hours. And most stuff was only 10% off! DH's Mum gave him some money to get the boys presents. We chose them some nice stuff. He had to spend £30 of his own money to add to it but we wanted them to have something nice. Can't tell you what we got cause they may well read this!

Christopher loved Daddy coming to drop him at school today. He felt quite important, showing Daddy his frog and how it went in the sandpit. All very cute!

Lewis had his last Christmas Craft Club today. He said they made a special Christmas Card. I held my hand out ~ expecting the card but he said 'I didn't make it for you. I made it for the teacher to say Thanks for all the things she helped us make'. Nice thought Lew!

Two weeks till Christmas Day. I can't believe how quick the time is going!!!

Carol Singing....

Not me! Don't panic! I would inflict that on anyone!!! Lewis has a Carol Singing & Afternoon Tea with the Cubs on 20th Dec. They will go to a local Warden Controlled block of flats and meet the residents in the Communal Lounge and sing Carols and have tea with them. Good job most of them are probably hard of hearing! It will count towards his 'Community Challenge' award. The whole family can go along if they want, or just Lewis.

Rebecca stayed last night. And she forgot her school trousers. So she went off to school in trackies and trainers and a note from me explaining why! Silly Billy!

Today my lead came. What lead I hear you ask?! A lead to connect the video player to the PC ~ so I can get some really old stuff onto here. So you have some treats instore real soon! Some of our Wedding will be the first things I will be sharing.

We are off to Plymouth tomorrow. I hope it is not too busy. Well that is all as I am off to try out the new Starbucks for the Tassimo. Yum!

No more video's

from School. I was called to School today because a member of staff had found the video of Christopher's Graduation. She said that some parents refused to sign the internet permission slip as they did not want pics of their child on the net. She said how imagine if someone had left an abusive partner, moved down here to get away and hide from them, and then stumbled across a video telling you the school name where their child is. And I totally get it. So I have removed all video's from school. Family & Friends can contact me if they want to see any School clips, I can send them to you off the net.

But fear not! You will still be showered in video's of my babies ~ just not at school.

I will leave you with a video. Who remembers this?

Amanda x x

You have to watch/listen to this!!!

The boys at Gemini have made their first ever Christmas song/Video. It is soooooooooooooo good! You just have to watch!

I am feeling sorry for myself today. My cold is here in full force. Last night I was awake coughing most of the night. My nose is sore my head hurts, my cough hurts, my eyes are burning and watering and well....I look a total delight today!

I picked up Christopher's Certificate today. The writing has smudged a little as he said he cried when he left the hall (and cried again as he told me). Bless his dear little heart. Today it is his Christmas Lunch at School. I hope he enjoys it!

Well it hurts to look at the screen so I will leave you with the video to watch and see you tomorrow.

My big boy

Christopher was such a big boy today, going up and collecting his certificate. I would take a pic and share it but he left it in his tray. So you will have to check back tomorrow for that.

As for the video clip, well we were all told that no videos were to be put on the net and if they are then they will ban the use of cameras/camcorders in future. So if you want to see Christopher get his award then email me and I will let you see it.

My car tax reminder came today. Happy Christmas to them too!

Oh Christmas Tree!

Oh Christmas Tree! How wonky are your branches!!!

Oh my! I remember now that last year when we took the tree down (or should that be the beginning of this year) I said how we would HAVE to get a new tree this year. But, well, I forgot. And if my memory serves me right ~ I said the same thing the year before too.

Half the branches had fallen off. So the tree is rather 'sparse' and wonky. The decorations are all cracked and skanky. Seriously, my tree is sooooooooooo lush!!! LOL! I was seriously thinking of taking it down and throwing it away, when in walked Lewis. He took a deep breath and said a magical 'WOW!'. Don't you just LOVE kids? They see the nice side of everything!

I haven't yet taken pics ~ but I will do. Maybe. I am kind of embarrassed!

I feel like pants today (no no! Not WEARING pants on my head) and Squirrel was burning hot in the night. He has a horrible cough. We are two forlorn little things together. Poor us!

But tomorrow is Christopher's presentation. So that is something nice!

Tomorrow..

we are putting up our tree. I have moved the table across to make room for it (now I can't open the doors on the unit but not to worry!) The boys are so excited about putting the tree up ~ not sure how I will feel once Squirrel gets his hands on it!

WE got lots of stuff ready for Christmas today. Got out Turkey and all the bits that have a long life date. Got our choccys and sweets, nuts & crackers. All we need now is the fresh stuff, fruit, veggys, potatoes etc...

Changing the subject. I have a cough. And a bad mouth. My gums are all red and bruised looking. I don't know why! Maybe it is my mouth wash? I used a different one these past couple days. It is sooooo sore. Poor me.

So then. Who will be in the final? All I know is I HATE Louis. He makes my skin crawl. I used to want Diana to win but she is irritating me.

I will take a pic of the tree tomorrow. Bet you are all excited?!

Sad...

I had to come back to tell you what happened today. I am sure you won't mind two posts today.

Today when Christopher came out of school Mrs Patten, his classroom assistant, came out to speak with me. She said that after lunch, when he was out in the Kids Kingdom, he stood in the corner and 'sobbed'. The dinner lady was concerned so went and got his teacher. They took him to the corridor to try and ask him what was wrong. When he calmed down they fired questions at him: Did someone hurt you? Are you feeling poorly? Have you hurt yourself? Has someone said something nasty to you? He had a nice chat with Mrs Patten, which she said was the most he had ever said to her, so she said she felt she had some kind of breakthrough with him. He told her all about his lunch and what he had eaten. He said he loves his packed lunches. They sat and had a nice chat and then she asked again what was upsetting him. He said he was cold....

She was saying what a sweet and lovely little boy he is. And he is! He is kind, caring and sensitive.

When we walked off I asked him myself what was wrong with him, as I couldn't see him getting so upset because he was cold. He said 'I just wanted you again. Every day I want you. And some days I want you so much it makes me cry.'

Awwwww. My poor boy. So I told him he must not cry and that if he ever feels sad because he wants me, to remember he will be back with me soon enough. He asked me 'Why shouldn't I cry?' I told him 'Because it makes me sad to know you are crying. I want you to be happy.' He just replied with 'I love you Mum'.

Got a letter...

from School. Christopher is being awarded with the Headteachers Award. I have to go to a celebration assembly on Monday morning to see him get presented with it :) I will be sure to video it so I can share his special moment with all of you!

Adam got all upset yesterday. He went into Argos to pick up my Reservation. Now he will be 13 in a couple months and they refused to serve him cause the game I was getting was rated 12. LMAO! He stood there and argued his corner ~ saying he was 12 but they called someone across who agreed that No ~ he wasn't 12. Bless him. He came back to the car maoning and grumbling to himself. I told him not to take offense and that when he is older he will love it if he gets ID'd for something. He couldn't understamd that ~ but we all know he will! The silly thing is though ~ he was picking up the LIPS for the XBOX 360 that I had reserved. (They loved the Singstar so we thought they would love this for Christmas to play together). Now LIPS is basically a sing along game. You get your wireless controllers and sing to the msuic. Why on earth would it be a 12? I don't get it! I am half tempted to open it and try it out (I won't I won't!!!). I can almost feel the pity you are throwing around for my poor neighbours. LOL!

If you check the bottom of this post you will se a 'Rate it'and some choices. Let me know what you think of my posts each day (be nice!).

Do you know what I wanted?

I had this conversation with Christopher this morning while waiting to go into school:

C: Did I tell you about yesterday?
M: What about yesterday?
C: When I was in the Kids Kingdom do you know what I wanted?
M: What did you want?
C: You
M: Awwwww....you wanted me?
C: Yes (eyes filling with tears)
M: Did you cry?
C: Yes. And look, I am starting to cry again...

Bless little Christopher. He was okay. We wiped his tears and I got him giggling by saying I would get stuck coming down the little slide and all the kids would be laughing at me. He was fine when I dropped him off. He had a dot to dot to do and told me to 'watch' as he was good at them.

The Argos delivery van got stuck in our street today. The roads are narrow and people park so silly. There was a problem with a fire engine once... Anyway, this van got stuck, the Police came to try and get the cars moved but was called to a domestic and had to leave. And the domestic (cause I like to gossip....lol) was next door. Now bearing in mind that it is a Mum and her 2 kids in the house, not really the place you would expect. But the screaming a yelling coming from there was crazy! The Police came, the ambulance came. Not a clue what was going on but well. It was all happening here this morning. You know what DH is like. Got into a chat with the Policeman and was saying about the parking and what if it was a fire engine that had got stuck etc. Bearing in mind that the paths are double wide they really do need to make the paths normal sized and increase the road width. But I guess that would cost them too much money *rolling eyes*.

Can you believe that it is just 3 weeks till Christmas? I will leave you with that happy thought :)
